About The Crucifix

The Crucifix is a powerful in-game item that lets you banish certain enemies, immediately removing them from the room. This doesn’t stop them spawning again later, but it ends the current encounter. More powerful entities may simply get stunned for a few seconds, though this can help you in a tight spot. The Crucifix is a one-use item, so make sure to use it wisely.

Entities destroyed by The Crucifix are the following.

• Ambush
• Dupe
• Eyes
• Giggle
• Gloombat Flock
• Halt
• Rush
• Screech

Entities stunned by The Crucifix are these three.

These Entities are unaffected by The Crucifix.

• Glitch
• Hide
• Jack
• Snare
• Timothy
• Void
• Window
• Any entity in or from The Rooms

How To Get The Crucifix

The Crucifix is powerful, but it appears alongside ordinary items. You can find it in drawers, cases, and other containers. You can also find them hung on walls in bedrooms in The Hotel, or over doorframes.

One of the highest chances you have to get one is from the Jeff Shop in Room 52. The shop has four items from a pool of six, with a roughly 60% chance of one of these being the Crucifix. You can pick one up for around 500 Gold, so make sure to pick up enough to buy one before you hit Room 52.
