Let’s get down to business.

About Corruption

Corruption is a rare Biome event where the map becomes covered in a poisonous purple mist. It lasts for a little over ten minutes.

Corruption has five Auras associated with it. They can be rolled in the Corruption Biome at the following chances. These are all the chances at Base Luck.

  • Astral – 1/267,200 Chance To Roll
  • Corrosive – 1/2,400 Chance To Roll
  • Hazard – 1/1,400 Chance To Roll
  • Hazard: Rays – 1/14,000 Chance To Roll
  • Impeached – 1/40,000,000 Chance To Roll

The crafting item Curruptoine has a chance to spawn in the Corruption Biome.

When Does Corruption Appear?

Corruption has a 1 in 9000 chance to appear every second, provided there is no other Biome in effect. This is rolled for the server as a whole.

If you have a Strange Controller, you can switch the Biome immediately. There is a 2% chance that your Strange Controller will change the Biome to Corruption when used. This makes it more common than Null, but more rare than most Biomes available through the device.
