First we’ll tell you what races are, then talk about each of them.

About Races

Races are what species your Fruit Seas character is. Different races get different stat boosts. Unless you’re a human, then you just.. exist. There might be a few advantages to that, too though.

Fruit Seas Race List

Here are all the various Fruit Seas races, and a bit about how to get them.

Human

  • 30% Chance to roll one on every reroll.
  • No buffs, just a regular person.
  • Able to turn into the Vampire race through drinking blood.

Skypian

  • 20% Chance to roll one on every reroll.
  • Cosmetic: Wings on your character’s back.
  • Better jump.
  • Extra Geppo charge. (When you get Geppo.)

Fishman

  • 15% Chance to roll one on every reroll.
  • Cosmetic: Fins on body, limbs, or head. There are five different possible fin colors.
  • Faster swim speed.
  • Fruit use doesn’t prevent you from swimming.

Mink

  • 15% Chance to roll one on every reroll.
  • Cosmetic: Animal features. Either dog, rabbit, or goat.
  • 15% Faster Move Speed
  • 15% More Stamina

Oni

  • 10% Chance to roll one on every reroll.
  • Cosmetic: Horns, with five different variations.
  • Takes 10% less damage from both sword and fist-style attacks.

Cyborg

  • 5% Chance to roll one on every reroll.
  • Cosmetic: One of five different machine pieces, with five possible color variations for each piece.
  • Deal 5% extra damage across the board.

Lunarian

  • 5% Chance to roll one on every reroll.
  • Cosmetic: Dark wings on the character’s back.
  • 100% extra Burn damage.
  • M1 attack can inflict Burn status.
  • Immune to Burn damage.

Vampire

  • Doesn’t appear in the race reroll. You get the race by consuming the Vampire Blood item from the Lucius NPC. We’ve got a Fruit Seas vampire race guide if you want to know more!
  • 5% Lifesteal bonus on players, 10% Lifesteal bonus against NPC enemies.
  • 5% extra crit chance.
  • 15% faster HP regen at night.
