Previously operating under the moniker Outplayed Euphoria, Hellas Verona FC Esports will compete in FIFA and eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer. Marco Pistoni, Chief Revenue Manager of Hellas Verona FC, spoke on the venture in a release: “The eSerie A TIM is an innovative competition that brings Italian football into a new dimension. Esports [is] becoming an increasingly important and relevant reality, for this reason we have decided to take the field with Outplayed, a structured and prepared partner to face this new [challenge] together with Hellas Verona in a young and dynamic world.” RELATED: Fnatic partners with GamerzClass to produce educational courses Hellas Verona FC’s fellow Italian football club ACF Fiorentina recently established its own esports division through a partnership with Hexon Esports, similarly competing in both FIFA and eFootball PES.
