14 Aug GameNews L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files Has Been Rated For A PS4 Release August 14, 2019 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files for PS4 has been rated by PEGI, which handles game ratings in Europe. The PEGI-18 rating, which was discovered on ResetEra, is identical to the rating handed out for the game’s 2017 PC release, citing bad language and violence. Strangely, the rating has since disappeared from the site, but the screenshot in the original thread remains. An August 12 release date is listed, but since that date has already been and gone it’s clearly just a placeholder. The PC release of L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files rebuilt seven of the cases from the original game for VR, and played out in first-person instead of third. Players again controlled Detective Cole Phelps as he solved crimes, interrogated witnesses and suspects, drove cars, and fought anyone who got in his way. It’s not clear if the PS4 version will be a straight port or not. In his 8/10 review of the PC version, Jimmy Thang said that the game “excels at making you feel and think like a detective in a way that the base game can’t.” The PC version is compatible with HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Valve Index. Hopefully we’ll get official confirmation of a PS VR release soon. Source link Facebook Twitter Google Email Pinterest
