Image credit: Florida Mayhem John Kracum, President of Florida Mayhem discussed the partnership in an announcement: “Gift of Life is a fantastic organization that has saved and improved the quality of lives for almost 30 years, and all of us in Misfits Gaming and the Florida Mayhem are proud to be partnering with them. What I love most about this campaign is that not only does it let us and our community rally around a worthy cause, but it empowers our fans by letting them help others and save lives.” This deal will commence on August 8th at the Blizzard Arena, allowing those in attendance to sign up to the marrow registry. Florida Mayhem will also get involved with swab drives ran by Gift of Life Campus Ambassadors across colleges and universities in Florida. Jay Feinberg, CEO and Founder of Gift of Life also commented: “We are thrilled to team up with Misfits Gaming and the Florida Mayhem, who are ideal partners in the battle against blood cancer and other diseases. This is an incredible opportunity to save more lives than ever before!” Misfits Gaming appointed Greg Stangel as its Chief Revenue Officer and announced a partnership with sports apparel company Outerstuff in July. Esports Insider says: We’re slowly but surely starting to see more charitable partnerships in the industry and it’s honestly great to see. Esports has a young demographic and demonstrating how simple and effective charitable acts can be could well produce a lot of positive change for years to come.
