The partnership will include ASTRO Gaming increasing the TEKKEN World Tour’s prize pool by matching the original purse of $100,000 (£78,000). However, while passion fuels competition, it doesn’t fuel your bank account,” said a spokesperson for ASTRO Gaming. “We recognise this struggle, so this year ASTRO is officially boosting the TEKKEN World Tour prize pool with an extra $100,000 and a custom payout structure. Along with stage support, all of the European & North American Master Events will feature MixAmp Pro TR’s at every pool station and free-to-borrow headsets in the ASTRO Booth. There will also be an A40 + MixAmp Pro TR set up on every stage & pool station for the 2019 World Finals. ASTRO also announced the “ASTRO Path To TEKKEN Masters, powered by Beyond Entertainment”. The online tournament series allows players to compete online to win a myriad of prizes, including $500 (£394) cash, ASTRO hardware prize packs, as well as travel accommodations and tournament entry support to compete at official TEKKEN World Tour Master events. Credit: AstroMasters ASTRO Gaming’s partnership support of the World Tour increases the total tournament prize from $185,000 (£145,000) to $285,000 (£224,000) with $200,000 (£157,000) up for grabs at the TEKKEN World Finals. Since then it has stopped in Seattle, Sweden, South Korea, Australia and the USA. Additional stops included the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Australia and more. To conclude the 19 highest ranked players will then be invited to the TEKKEN World Tour finals in Bangkok, Thailand.
