Punch-Out!!-Inspired Knockout 2: Wrath of the Karen Lands on Mobile

Knockout 2: Wrath of the Karen is now out on mobile and PC. Developed and published by ExceptioNULL Games, it’s the pseudo-sequel to their first title Election Year Knockout. Unlike last time, this one deals with Karens that you might stumble into in real-life situations.

Absurdity at its best!

You play a newly recruited agent of the Bureau of Federal Boxing Investigation. It’s a time when the country is facing a rapidly spreading and deeply strange crisis: from Karens. You meet them at the grocery store or the gym, or even as scam artists and sovereign citizens.

Managers are getting knocked out, cats are being stolen, and HOA fines are piling up. So, you need to investigate the root cause. In this version of the world, the legal system has been entirely replaced by boxing. So, laws, court cases, and even minor inconveniences like sandwich toppings or awkward roundabout encounters are resolved through fights.

Don’t worry, it’s not illegal at all! You get a license to punch as you travel across the nation and beyond in pursuit of answers. The game presents a puzzle boxing system where each opponent must be studied and broken down through their unique fighting style.

Knockout 2: Wrath of the Karen also lets you customise. You can unlock gear that alters both appearance and combat effectiveness. As you progress, the influence behind the crisis, called a dark karenic force, continues to grow stronger.

Take a look at the game below.

Knockout 2: Wrath of the Karen is divided into a three-part main story

After completing the main story, there’s additional content such as special missions, daily challenges, and timed trials for each character. Achievements contribute to expanding the lore.

The feature set highlights classic arcade boxing with tight timing and controls inspired by Punch-Out!!. You get a fully customisable boxer and full keyboard and gamepad support.

Knockout 2: Wrath of the Karen is now available on the Google Play Store.
