02 Apr Mobile Gaming All About Newly Launched Card Battler Wild Cards April 2, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Ever wonder what would happen if the Roman Emperor Caligula, one bengal tiger, and Hecate, Goddess Of Night, fought Agatha Christie, the entire roman army, and one labrador? We’ve never wondered that either, but now that Wild Cards is out on Android, it’s crossed our minds more than once. Wild Cards is a new card battler from Avid Games, the same stable as Cards, the Universe and Everything, (or CUE to its friends). CUE applause The new game is a spiritual successor to CUE, with an overall faster pace and a focus on getting to play and finish matches faster and more seamlessly than its predecessor. You build your deck from an assortment of… well just about everything. Nikolai Tesla, Zeus, Boudica, a Pallas Cat, The Flying Dutchman, Baphoment, the literal Sun. There are tons of different cards to choose from. Historical figures, animals, ancient gods and celestial bodies are all on the table, and each comes with their own particular special abilities that can work together. You put together a 12 card deck from your collection, pick a hero to champion your army of gods, demons, buildings, and cats. Then, it’s 9 fast turns to see whose cards come out on top. You might taste victory, you might get destroyed by Jules Verne, who can say? Something for everyone With easier deckbuilding and faster matches than CUE, Wild Cards is easy to pick up, but not so easy to win as you’ll need to outwit your adversary by setting traps, undermining their special abilities with your own, or presenting a show of overwhelming force. It’s fast, smart, and very very silly. If you like the sound of playing out Coughing Baby vs Hydrogen Bomb scenarios for yourself, then Wild Cards is available now on Google Play (and the App Store). It’s free to play with IAPs, though with player-to-player trading it means content isn’t heavily paywalled. Source link Facebook Twitter Email Pinterest
