01 Apr Mobile Gaming Crunchyroll Drops Pokémon-Style Monster Collector AniMoCo on Roblox April 1, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Anime Monster Collector, also known as AniMoCo, is now live on Roblox. It’s from Crunchyroll. Yep, the game is developed by the Crunchyroll team for Roblox. A collection-focused anime adventure, the game lets you explore a colourful world and catch original creatures called AniMo. But this isn’t the first time that Crunchyroll has dropped a game on Roblox. The first one was My Hero Academia Battlegrounds, launched in December 2023. It’s a Roblox game developed by Gamefam in partnership with Crunchyroll. But the game received negative feedback due to performance issues and low player engagement compared to other Roblox games at the time. Simultaneously, several popular fan-made My Hero Academia games on Roblox were removed due to copyright enforcement when the official game launched. So, what’s Roblox AniMoCo? The game takes place across several anime-inspired locations. There’s a peaceful forest, a glowing anime city, and an academy hub where you can hang out between expeditions. Inside the school area, you can visit a special library full of anime posters and videos. The game offers both solo play and multiplayer expeditions. There are also unique UGC items that you can unlock through gameplay. There are 36 AniMo in total, with some being cute, some strange, and some intentionally rare. Roblox AniMoCo is a collection-first game, focusing more on exploration, discovery, and social play. Characters like Hime and Yuzu guide you through the world and help introduce new areas and features. By the way, Hime looks a lot like Meggy from SMG4, so don’t confuse them to be the same characters! And also, if you’re thinking that it seems a lot like Pokémon, you are definitely correct. Don’t most pet-collecting titles remind you of Pokémon? Nonetheless, if you’re a Roblox fanatic, you can check out AniMoCo from the Google Play Store. Or take a look at it first and then decide!
