30 Mar Mobile Gaming Fantasy Roguelike Arcath Tales now available on Android March 30, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment There’s a new roguelike RPG in town, and it goes by the name of Arcath Tales. Developed by R2 Games for both mobile and PC, it arrives after a hugely successful pre-registration phase. This is one where it got featured on the Google Play Store homepage (within the pre-registration section). So what’s all the fuss about? Let’s dive in. What’s the story? Arcath Tales asks you to explore a world underneath the World Tree, where you have to build a team of brave spirit allies to take on a range of quests and challenges. This is because a suffocating mist is spreading across the land, corrupting everything it touches and turning living beings into fearsome monsters. Serious stuff. The gameplay itself is built around the title’s slogan of “Where Cards, Roguelike Adventure, and Myth Unite” – which sounds like a lot, but it’s actually very easy to pick up regardless of your RPG experience level. How simple? So you’ll basically be exploring mist-covered continents and maps with your team, checking out the various branching routes and taking on a range of battles with a host of unpredictable foes. There are forest spirit cards you’ll collect that can help you configure your team exactly how you want too, including active and passive abilities. Each spirit is divided up into distinct elements and battlefield roles – such as attackers, defenders, and supporters – increasing the number of options you have available. So there’s a lot of ways you can put your team together, but it’s all made quite simple to tweak thanks to the clear UI. What else? There’s a lot else here that makes this an RPG to savour, especially on mobile. Your character can go down a range of different paths, making every play through wildly different. You’ve also got a range of equipment and gear you can buy and collect to make sure you’re always well equipped against what you face. Arcath Tales is available now on Google Play, with the PC version accessible via R2 Games. Source link Facebook Twitter Email Pinterest
