06 Mar GameNews Oblivion Remastered Multiplayer Mod Is On The Way March 6, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment ReadyCode–the company behind Black Myth: Wukong multiplayer mod WukongMP–has announced plans to release a multiplayer mod for Oblivion Remastered. A specific launch date hasn’t been announced, though ReadyCode says it plans to release the mod sometime this year, and players can sign up for early access now. “For 20 years, Cyrodiil belonged to heroes walking alone,” ReadyCode’s trailer for the mod states. “Not anymore!” ReadyCode is using a program it calls ReadyM to bring multiplayer to Oblivion, and has plans to introduce multiplayer capabilities to other popular single-player games, too, though the company hasn’t shared which games are next on the list. ReadyCode says it hopes to support player-created “cooperative campaigns, role-playing servers, custom economies [and] PvP arenas” via ReadyM. According to ReadyCode, the OblivionMP mod will allow players to “Explore Cyrodiil with friends, build guilds and empires, [and] design custom servers.” “Some of the best multiplayer experiences in gaming came from players hacking things together because they wanted to play with friends,” ReadyCode co-founder and CEO Julius Kopczewski said in a press release. “I’ve seen how powerful that can be, but also how fragile it is when every team has to rebuild from scratch. ReadyM offers these communities a solid foundation so their ideas can live longer and reach players across more than one game.” ReadyCode’s other co-founder, Michael Szklarski, is the creator of Grand Theft Auto 5 multiplayer mod GT-MP, which serves as an alternative to GTA Online. Szklarski’s LinkedIn page states that ReadyCode is “solving gaming’s biggest opportunity: less than 1% of games have robust UGC multiplayer capabilities, yet those that do (Minecraft, GTA V, Fortnite) dominate the industry for decades.” Players interested in taking the OblivionMP mod can sign up for early access here.
