Cards and Castles Ultimate Launches on Android with Multiple New Features

Red Team Games has rolled out Cards and Castles Ultimate, a new entry in its tactical card battler series. This one brings collectible deckbuilding together with grid-based warfare. A tactical card-board combat, cards are not just numbers here.

Cards and Castles Ultimate is the third game in the Cards and Castles series

It brings a mix of new systems and structural changes. Units are deployed onto a tactical combat board, and their location influences defensive formations, aggressive pushes, and control of key spaces.

You can fortify around your castle, attempt an all-out assault, or pursue specific map objectives that provide alternative routes to advantage. Meanwhile, deck construction centres on seven distinct factions: Vikings, Crusaders, Warlocks, Pirates, Ninjas, Druids, and Undead.

Each faction carries its own themes and mechanics, and you can combine up to two factions at once. With over 350 cards to collect, with more on the way, the pool is large with no deck restrictions on legendary cards.

One of the main features in Cards and Castles Ultimate is Draft Tables. It introduces true pass-around drafting in custom lobbies with no currency gating. It replicates the feel of physical draft formats in a digital space.

Dual-Color Cards also make their debut, offering ultra-powerful options that reward specific colour pairings and reinforce the two-faction structure. The early stages of matches offer a faster, more complex early game that allows powerful combos and strategies to become available very quickly.

Lastly, a new Graveyard system changes how you handle losses. Slain or discarded units appear as ghosts behind your Castle, creating opportunities to resurrect the dead and interact with fallen units.

Also, multiplayer maps feature unique secondary objectives under the Map Objectives system. Another addition, the Guardian position, lets you assign any unit to directly protect your Castle. Combat comes with a new STOMP ability that allows certain units to step on enemies.
