The young prodigy has participated in competitive VALORANT events as part of the GenG Scholars team and also won the Ansan Esports Festival 2023. “I will work hard to repay you as much as you [Gen.G Esports] have believed in me!” Xiesta stated on X (Twitter). At the time of writing, Xiesta is a Radiant player in VALORANT with 729 RR and ranks 31st in APAC during V26 Act 1. That said, since the South Korean player is only 15 years old, he is ineligible to play in VCT. As a result, he has been loaned to the South Korean Challengers team ONSIDE GAMING. “A new talent who appeared like a comet, player Xiesta has signed a loan transfer contract with GGA through Onside,” the organisation announced. “Onside will be with him so that the player’s potential can shine to its fullest.” When Will Xiesta Debut For Gen.G Esports? It is unclear what sort of plans the organisation has for Xiesta; however, he will be eligible to compete in VCT in 2028 when he is 18. It is also interesting to note that Gen.G Esports’ duelists, Kim ‘t3xture‘ Na-ra and Kim ‘ZynX‘ Dong-ha, have contracts running until 2027. Moreover, Xiesta has been practising duelist agents in Ranked, including Yoru, Jett, and Neon, according to his match history. As such, it will be interesting to see how the player will transition from being a ranked demon to an elite on-stage performer.
