Pokemon Presents Livestream Announced For February 27

Gaming showcases are coming in hot and fast, and right on cue, a new Pokemon Presents livestream has been confirmed for February 27 at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET. Once again, fans can tune in to see what’s next for the pocket monster franchise as it celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026.

Naturally, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have revealed next to nothing about the livestream, but if previous broadcasts are any indication, you can expect updates for current live-service games like Pokemon Go, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, Pokemon Unite, and Pokemon Masters EX, alongside upcoming spin-off games like Pokemon Pokopia.

Fans are also eager to see if a new mainline Pokemon game will debut this year, following the release of Pokemon Legends Z – A last year. We already know that the 30th anniversary celebrations include the opening of the Pokemon theme park in Tokyo, and a year-long campaign has been teased by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company.

The celebrations kicked off with a 60-second ad that aired during Super Bowl 60, which saw several celebrities sharing their favorite pocket monsters from across the decades. Sadly, no one mentioned Umbreon, but at least Young Miko showed some good taste with her choice, Gengar.
