Dark, Celtic-Inspired Pixel RPG Drova: Forsaken Kin Opens Pre-Registration on Android

Publisher Deck13 and developer Just2D are bringing their dark ARPG Drova: Forsaken Kin to Android. The game launched on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in October 2024.

As the action RPG moves closer to its mobile debut, the studio has dropped new gameplay footage. It gives us a glimpse of the user interface for smaller screens. They’ve also added more language options for global players.

A new roadmap specifies that the new language options are Polish, Traditional Chinese, and Spanish. The language support will be added in Q2 2026, arriving in tandem with the launch on mobile platforms.

Set in a handcrafted open world, the game offers choices and actions that shape both the environment and the broader narrative. You’ll encounter teachers throughout the world who teach numerous abilities.

It’s about a society that has uncovered the power of a fallen empire and learned to capture and dominate the spirits that once governed nature. That act has consequences, as the remaining spirits, angered by what has been done, become divided.

Progression begins from the bottom. You start with nothing, navigating dangerous landscapes while taking on tasks, trading, gathering resources, and crafting equipment. Studying the environment and interpreting surrounding clues are key to uncovering mysteries and increasing strength.

Combat includes a flow-based battle system where different combos and weapons determine survival. You can join one of two factions; it carries consequences for the remainder of the game and influences the entire storyline.
