Crunchyroll Brings Princess Maker 2 Refine+ to Mobile, with the Previously Cancelled English Version

A version of a classic life sim title that first launched more than three decades ago is back on the Crunchyroll Game Vault! It’s a child-raising sim, to be precise. The title I’m talking about is Princess Maker 2, or rather Princess Maker 2 Refine+, which launched on Steam in 2016.

The game blends role-playing elements with life management. A remaster of the life-sim title, Princess Maker 2 stands out for another reason. It includes the official English translation, which was previously cancelled.

The story unfolds in a fantasy setting that mimics medieval Europe, starting in the year 1210 K.D. You are a wandering swordsman who once defeated a Demon in a one-on-one duel. For saving the kingdom, the grateful king and citizens urge you to remain in the capital rather than return to your travels.

One night, you, the swordsman, witness a shooting star streak across the heavens. From the falling light emerges a small girl enclosed in a glowing sphere. Having spent her childhood in the heavens, the girl is 10 years old when she comes under your care, and she must be raised until the age of 18.

The ‘My Fair Lady’ story then spans across eight formative years. You determine her education, part-time jobs, training, discipline, schedule, and overall lifestyle. You must manage monthly schedules carefully, balancing study, work, rest, and extracurricular pursuits.

Although the daughter begins with dreams of becoming a princess, Princess Maker 2 offers dozens of possible endings. She might grow into a noble knight, scholar, artist, queen, or take on a completely different role shaped by her experiences.
