February 14, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Discover the best Abyss Builds in this article that remains up to date with the latest meta, so you know which equipment to take on your fishy expeditions. Start playing Abyss via Roblox. Or, check out more content on this new fishy game, such as our Scientist Questline guide. The Best Abyss Builds Tools Tools follow a natural in-game progression, with Guns and Tubes gradually getting more expensive in exchange for better stats. With no enchants in the game or imbalance to this system, the Tools are relatively easy to determine the best for. Guns Ruined Gun Costs 245,000 and offers 350 damage, 1.7s cooldown, and 1.1 control in the minigame. The Ruined Gun is cheaper and more efficient than the Plunger Gun, but deals significantly less damage. Plunger Gun If you want to favour damage over control and cooldowns, the Plunger Gun costs 321,987 and deals 420 damage. It has a longer cooldown at 2.3 seconds, and offers less control in the minigame at 0.85. Tubes Ruined Tube Paired with the Ruined Gun, the Ruined Tube has the highest Oxygen Tank of any tube at 370. However, it cannot plunge as deep as the Bath Tube, and has less weight capacity, capping at 480 versus the Bath Tube’s 580. This section has a lot of indecision, as the best for your build will depend on your playstyle and how you prefer to hunt in the Abyss. Personally, I like the Ruined Set as I like their balance, but the Plunger and Bath offer stronger fixed stats, with a larger debuff elsewhere. Races The game released with two Mythical Races, which are an obvious focus. Ideally, rolling either of those is a good place to settle, regardless of your build progress. Sea Angel Race Of the Mythical Races, this one has better tactics for survivability and maximising efficiency. It’s very Oxygen-focused, making it great for longer expeditions and capturing the fish you’re after. Whilst the game is in BETA, the Kraken Race, which is more DMG-focused, isn’t as necessary since the complete BETA Beastiary isn’t overwhelmingly hard to complete. This will likely shift as new areas and fish are added. +10% Speed, +25% Oxygen, and +15% Cash. When below 20% Oxygen, sprinting no longer consumes extra Oxygen. Gain bonus damage equal to 35% of Movement Speed Below 50% Oxygen increase focus, making the catch minigame progressively quicker. Caps when below 20% Oxygen. Artifacts Filling all three Artifact slots is essential for refining your build and focusing on improving areas you lack in, or buffing already solid stats to maximise their potential. With this in mind, the best Artifacts include: Ruined Lantern Obtained via the Lightkeepers Quest, this Artifact is great alongside the Sea Angel race and recommended Ruined Tools since they all synergise to hyperfocus on speed. Speed builds are efficient at getting things done, completing quests quicker and taking down tankier fish with ease. +33.3% Oxygen +3.3 Speed +33.3 KG Wraith Flower Obtained via Rooted Geodes, this Artifact lowers cooldowns, increases speed, and increases damage. It’s a good, balanced Artifact since it once again feeds into the Speed Build, but also increases Gun damage, which makes the recommended Ruined Gun a better choice, fixing its one downside. +44 Speed +0.5s -> +0.38s Cooldown +26% DMG Infernal Eye Obtained via Cactus Geode, this is similar to the Wraith Flower in that it will increase Gun damage and lower cooldowns. However, its third buff increases EXP gain, which isn’t hugely necessary, but does help with making the story and quests progression easier. +13% EXP +0.3s -> 0s Cooldown +21% DMG Frequently Asked Questions How often does the Best Build change? Builds change with meta shifts, typically around new content updates. As new areas, tools, races, and artifacts get added to the game, the meta will shift more towards better equipment. I recommend bookmarking this page and checking back when this happens. Do Builds matter? Yes! Whilst you can opt for any build, choosing one that’s progressive and suits your playstyle is key to making it into the late-game and uncovering all areas and their entire beastiary. You don’t have to follow my build advice, but I hope it’s at least helpful in learning how to forge a build. Source link Facebook Twitter Email Pinterest
