What Is Bramble?

Bramble is one of the major antagonists of The Outdoors. You’ll run into this horrible monster in the Hedge Maze, the last are of the Outdoors. This creature stalks the Hedge Maze, attack anyone in the vicinity. You’ll need to deal with this thing if you want to escape the area.

It resembles a huge humanoid made mostly from thorny vines, with a lamp post lamp for a head.

Bramble can send thorns out of the ground underneath you which do some damage, though its melee attack is an instakill.

How To Deal With Bramble

The mechanics of Bramble can be confusing as its behaviour might seem erratic to start with, but once you understand the core of it, it’s a lot easier to deal with.

Bramble is a game of Red Light Green Light, more or less. When its light is off, you should move around and do your best to avoid Bramble. If you see the light on, on the other hand, you should stop moving. Moving around will attract Bramble’s wrath. You can also hide, or move out of the way. Closets are still the best bet.

Your goal in the Hedge Maze is to escape, so it’s advisable to avoid Bramble as much as possible. If you can get to the edge of the Hedge Maze, The Groundskeeper will step in and finish the job for you, so it’s just a case of keeping out of the way long enough to make progress.
