The Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) event will be held as an LAN competition in Bucharest, Romania, where teams will compete for a lion’s share of its $50,000 (~£36,555) prize pool. There will be a $2,000 (~£1,460) sign-up fee per team, although the event is open to all players and global region teams. The top eight VRS teams will be seeded to the main event, which will be held at the Nexus Gamers Pub. Setup details have also been provided, featuring BenQ ZOWIE 400Hz monitors, Acezone headsets, and PCs with NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti GPUs. In the end, the winning team in the tournament will receive $30,000 (~£21,950) for its efforts, with the runner-up earning $10,000 (~£7,310) and the third-place team taking home $5,000 (~£3,660). The format will be split into two phases: the Group Stage and the Playoffs. The Group Stage will first feature Bo1 opening matches, before moving on to Bo3 elimination and deciders. The event will conclude with a Bo3 Playoffs Stage. The BC.Game Masters Championship will be livestreamed on the organisation’s Twitch channel. The tournament will be hosted by Vanta, an esports platform known for hosting the JB Pro League European online CS2 event. How BC.Game Masters Ties to CS2 Esports According to the official webpage, the BC.Game Masters Championship is VRS eligible, and will seed teams based on the VRS rankings for March 2026. The tournament is also Valve Ranked Tier 2 compliant, meaning teams can compete to earn crucial points in an effort to qualify for upcoming Counter-Strike 2 events.
