Countless Army Is a Reverse Tower Defense Game, Mobile Edition Out Now

Countless Army Mobile Edition brings a familiar strategy but flips the usual roles found in tower defense games. Adapted from the PC version, the game is out now on Android. It’s developed and published by indie developer Dos Estrellas.

Instead of protecting villages in Countless Army Mobile Edition, you step into the role of the Dark Lord. You summon hordes of undead and monsters and send them directly into settlements, cities, and fortified locations. Of course, the objective here is to conquer an entire continent.

It’s the fantasy of being on the offensive side of the conflict. You raise armies of undead and get to select from up to 12 different types of monsters. You decide which units to send out and also the exact order they appear in, and the path they follow across each map.

Alongside troop management, dark magic plays a major role, too. It lets you support your advancing forces with spells during battles. There are 6 different spells available.

As power increases, you can level up the troops and assign one of two different classes for each unit type. Countless Army Mobile Edition also features a skill tree made up of 50 different unlockable skills. The campaign spans 6 kingdoms, each featuring distinct biomes. So, together they make up a total of 52 maps.
