Reigns: The Witcher Is the Latest Entry in the Swipe-‘Em-Up Series Coming to Android

Nerial and Devolver Digital have partnered with CD PROJEKT RED to bring Reigns: The Witcher to Android. They’re bringing swipe-driven Reigns formula into the dark fantasy world of The Witcher. The game will be available on mobile from February 27th, 2026.

A new twist on the legend of the White Wolf

Reigns: The Witcher reframes the legend of Geralt of Rivia through an unusually unreliable lens. You don’t follow the White Wolf directly through grunts, steel, and silver here. The game presents his life as a series of choices retold by his longtime companion Dandelion the Bard.

The Bard’s fluffy language and drunken enthusiasm shape how events unfold. You still inhabit Geralt’s role, trudging through the monster-infested landscapes of the Continent. But every action is filtered through Dandelion’s verses, where even a quiet bath or a routine contract can turn into material for a dramatic ballad.

Like the original Reigns duology, gameplay revolves around situations and making decisions by swiping left or right. Choices can bring fame among nobles, spark outrage among villagers, anger mages, or leave Geralt dealing with unexpected dangers such as drownings in swamps.

The tasks handed out by the world’s inhabitants are rarely straightforward. Meanwhile, Dandelion’s embellishments often push events in strange or exaggerated directions. All these factors result in thousands of possible narrative combinations.

Poor decisions or unfortunate swipes can escalate into mini-game encounters where Geralt must fend off ghouls, scavengers, and other threats. Between the clashes, you continue with the moral dilemmas and social entanglements.

Throughout the story, familiar figures from The Witcher universe appear. You’ll meet Yennefer, Triss, Vesemir, and other allies and adversaries. Catch a glimpse of Reigns: The Witcher on Android.

Reigns: The Witcher is now open for pre-registration on Android. You can find it on the Google Play Store.
