27 Jan Mobile Gaming Asteroids-Inspired Action Space Shooter Astro Busters Launches in Early Access on Mobile January 27, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Indie developer Michael Prymus has released Astro Busters in early access on mobile. It follows the space shooter’s earlier release on PC via Steam. The game draws inspiration from classic titles such as Asteroids, Gravity force and X-Pilot, and presents it into a modern arcade-style title. Who you gonna call? Astro Busters! Astro Busters puts you in deep space combat scenarios where you take on structured missions. In the process, you face increasingly aggressive enemies and collect coins. You can use the coins that you collect during gameplay to upgrade ships and weapons. The early access mobile version includes 3 single-player levels and 3 multiplayer modes. You can choose between 2 playable ships and equip 7 different weapons. Multiplayer is fully cross-platform, so you can participate in Co-Op or PvP matches alongside PC players. Astro Busters supports multiple playstyles through modes such as Deathmatch, Co-Op Survival and Co-Op waves. Warp features let you escape immediate danger, while certain missions enable you to enter large ships as part of your objectives. Catch a glimpse of the game below. Currently, the available list of features is quite extensive. There are ranked player leagues, achievements, mission-based levels with boss fights, space-style synthwave music and more. Additional systems include a new reward system for random sub-tasks, cloud based leaderboards, and vibration feedback when taking damage. The full version of Astro Busters is currently scheduled for release next year. That will include more levels, additional weapons, achievements, smarter AI enemies, in-game chat functionality and a fully dynamic random level generator. The dev is also planning a Capture the Flag multiplayer mode as part of that system. Astro Busters is available as a free download on Android. So, you can head over to the Google Play Store and give it a spin! Also, read our news on Engine-Building Game Terraforming Mars’ New Colonies DLC. Source link Facebook Twitter Google Email Pinterest
