Short Creepy Stories Don’t Clap Twice Walkthrough We’ve divided the Short Creepy Stories Don’t Clap Twice walkthrough up into the different times in the evening, with step-by-step instructions on how to progress. We cover how to get all three endings at the points where you need to make the choices. Arriving You should spawn in front of a house at night. Make your way onto the street and head to the third house down. Take the post off the door. Head inside. The lights should turn on. It appears you’re having a bit of a fight with your partner, who has gone to stay with a friend. Head into the kitchen. Interact with the note on the refrigerator. Once you’ve read the note, you can read the manual on the table. Now, you can operate the lighting by clapping. (F on Keyboard, Y on Controller.) Head around the house, and clap to turn on the lights in each of the rooms… apart from the strange room with several padlocks on the door. That’s not unsettling at all. Chores Once you’ve lit all the rooms, it’s time to check the mailbox. Head out the front to do that. After something ominous in the mailbox, you decided to head back in… only to lose the light. Clap to turn them on again. Seems there’s something up with these clap lights. Head upstairs to check the rooms on the upper floor. You’ll need to turn all the lights back on. Oh! One of the locks fell off the creepy door. Probably nothing to worry about. (We are worried.) The next job on our list is to water the garden flowers. Yes, at night. Truly we are a main character in a horror game. Go to the garage and pick up the watering can on the worktop there. Take it to the downstairs bathroom, the room next door, and interact with the sink to fill it. (We made a trip to the garden before doing this, so don’t repeat our mistake.) Fill the watering can, take it, to the garden, and interact with the flower beds to water them. A full can can do two of the beds, but there are four, so you will have to go back in and refill it. Nothing scary happens… other than having to do domestic chores while gaming. Next task is to empty the trash… wait, what are those bones in the trash can? That’s worrying. Maybe our hero just eats extremely big turkey legs. Open the front door and get jumpscared by law enforcement. A detective visits you and seems to imply that you might have something to do with all the disappearances in the area. Secret Ending? Here, you have a couple of options. You can let him leave, or you can interact with him as he leaves to kill him and get the Secret Ending. Either way, finish putting out your very bony trash bag, and head inside. (If you took out the detective, you’ll have a second bag of bony trash to throw out.) Dinner Time Open up the refrigerator and get your food. Place it in the microwave and heat it up. Head over to the couch and interact with the tray on the table to watch TV and eat your dinner. You’ll see some stuff on the TV about the detective who visited you. Bedtime Eventually, it will be time for bed. You can interact with the phone here to try to call Ellen, but it won’t go through. Go through the house and clap the lights off. (This was a little buggy for us, and we ended up having to turn some on again before we could interact with the bed to go to bed.) 3 AM You’ll wake up at 3 am, and something is a bit off. Oh dear, the spooky door is open. Head into the room. The player character seems to be panicked. Pause to appreciate this story’s bonus cat. Head through the rooms, clapping as you see signs of something inside rooms. The creepy thing will scamper around all over the place. Soon, you’ll find a knife stuck in the banister at the top of the stairs, pinning down a note. Interact with the note to read it. It will tell you she’s behind you. If you turn around, you’ll get the Bad Ending. If you want the Good Ending, don’t turn and run down the stairs; the thing will chase you. Hurry to the front door. It will be stuck. Once you’ve tried before, head to the big window to the left of the door and interact with it to jump through it. Once you’re outside, head to the right, towards the exit from the neighbourhood.
