14 Jan Mobile Gaming Sky: Children of the Light Is Dropping the Season of Lightmending Soon! January 14, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Sky: Children of the Light is preparing to drop its next chapter with the Season of Lightmending. It will be the 28th Seasonal Event in the Live version of the game since its global release. This season follows the Season of Migration and is set to begin in a couple of days. When does the Season of Lightmending begin in Sky: Children of the Light? It kicks off on January 16th, 2026 and concludes on April 2nd, 2026, giving you a whopping 76 days for the event activities. The protagonist of the event is the Vault of Knowledge. The Vault’s Memory Lanterns have been damaged and left scattered in need of care. If you’ve already unlocked the Vault of Knowledge, you can step in alongside friends to help restore the fractured lanterns hidden throughout the archives. The event is all about cooperation, asking Sky Kids to combine their light and work together to repair what has been broken. The season also has a new Quest Giver who calls for help and brings back some familiar faces to guide you through the process. The Memory Lanterns are unexpectedly fragile, so the solution lies in teamwork, observation, and persistence. You need to follow clues, search for missing pieces, and light crystals that allow the lanterns to be reassembled. Along the way, the Lightseekers return in a new role as Lightmenders. They’ll be introducing special devices that support the restoration efforts. Across the season, there are up to twelve unique devices that you can unlock by completing the Season’s twelve quests. The first two quests are opening on January 16th and 17th. Every remaining quest becomes available on Fridays, continuing the weekly release pattern through March 27th.
