The new Sea of Remnants gameplay trailer shows the everyday rhythm of pirate life in the game’s world. You see freeform exploration across the open world and large-scale confrontations with sea monsters. You also get a glimpse at several mini-games scattered throughout Orbtopia. Watch the new Sea of Remnants gameplay trailer below. What is Sea of Remnants? You play the role of a puppetfolk sailor who wakes up adrift at sea with no memories of their past. You survive dangerous waters, taking on strange and often oversized monsters. It also lets you build and customise a personal fleet, and gradually form relationships with more than 300+ companions. Recruitment plays a major role as you can encounter powerful allies from rival factions across the world. You can also invite them to join the crew and become part of a larger ocean-spanning narrative. You face an unusual lineup of threats, including giant bats lurking in dark caverns, cannon-wielding gorillas, and giant crabs guarding treasure. Exploration on land also factors heavily, from the busy streets of Orbtopia to untamed island settlements. Diversions might include a game of mahjong, a sudden duel, or even stepping through a door that leads to unexpected trouble. The RPG is being developed by Joker Studio, the developer of Identity V. A full launch is planned for PlayStation5 and PC via Steam in 2026, and later on mobile. Also, read our news on Platform Shooter Shotgun Joe – Love & Monsters.
