Devil Hunter Clan Tier List

So you’re starting your Devil Hunter career. Fiend or human, your family is important, and getting the right clan can make a big difference. What’s the right clan? We’re glad you asked! We’ll tell you in our Devil Hunter clan tier list.

Devil Hunter Clan Tier List

We’ve got the tiers themselves, a brief explanation of each, and their content. Then after, we’ve got a little FAQ to run over anything else you should know.

The Tiers

The tiers run in descending order, so the best clans are at the top, the least impressive at the bottom. We’ll leave notes next to the different clans if there are some conditions to the ranking.

S Tier

The most powerful clans that give you the best buffs in the game. (So far, anyway.) The stat increases give you a massive edge when you start with the character, and will let you get as powerful as you can possible get at endgame. Don’t reroll these unless you’re REALLY sure.

A Tier

A Tier clans are very good, just not quite peak. We’d only suggest rerolling these if you have a good number of rerolls stocked up, as a single reroll is more likely to nerf you than give you anything better.

• Higashiyama (Human)
• Hayakawa
• Kishimoto
• Fujimoto

B Tier

Good, though nothing crazy. Keep these around unless you’re feeling confident, but losing them is less punishing than losing an A or an S Tier.

• Himeno (Situational. If you want to pursue the Ghost Devil Contract, Himeno clan is extremely useful, if you don’t, it has much less utility.)
• Sawatari (Also situational. (Situational. If you want to pursue the Snake Devil Contract, Sawatari clan is extremely useful, if you don’t, it isn’t helpful.)
• Yoshida (Similar to the other two, alternates between an A or a D depending on if you contract with the Octopus Devil or not.)

C Tier

These buffs are alright, certainly better than nothing at all, but there are definitely better ones out there.

D Tier

These clans don’t give you any buffs at all! So, unless you’re super attached to a particular character name, we can’t recommend that you stick with any of them. Reroll as soon as you can and hope for something better.
