100 Thieves Roobet announces CS2 signings, roster missing just one player

100 Thieves Roobet has been announcing its new Counter-Strike 2 team after the organisation’s decision to return to the esports title.

Graham ‘messioso’ Pitt and Sean ‘sgares’ Gares have been working on putting together a CS2 team for the 2026 season, and the three more players were announced today: Andre ‘Ag1l” Gil, William ‘sirah’ Kjaersgaard and Alex ‘poiii’ Sundgren.

The 100 Thieves Roobet roster is almost complete, with just one more player awaiting an announcement:

“Super excited to get started with the boys in my new home! Let’s goo,” tweeted poiii.

Added sirah: “Excited to be part of 100 Thieves. Can’t wait to get started with this amazing group of people.”

The reaction from the Counter-Strike 2 community has been largely positive, with many expressing excitement over the barrage of announcements. They feel the roster is promising so far, a blend of fresh and veteran competitors.

However, gamers can’t help but speculate who the final spot will go to. One name being thrown around is Nicolai ‘dev1ce’ Reedtz, who departed from Astralis last week. dev1ce would join rain as a more seasoned player to help balance out the roster.

100 Thieves Roobet has yet to reveal who is taking the final slot on its team.

100 Thieves shocked the Counter-Strike community when it announced it was leaving the scene in late 2020. The uncertainty surrounding Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s competitive future, especially in light of the global pandemic, seemed to be the cause.

Then, 100 Thieves shocked everyone once more in November 2025 when it returned with a gambling partner and stated that its CS2 team would go by 100 Thieves Roobet. Five years later, it had returned.
