HappyGrace, a two-person indie game studio based in Japan, has rolled out Treasure Flea Market: Cozy Sim globally. It’s now available on Android with full English language support, marking the first worldwide release for the team.

The game follows Sho, a boy gifted with the unusual ability to hear the feelings and voices that live inside discarded items. He has Zero, his robot best friend who supports him despite being a little absent-minded at times.

Together, they spend their days digging through a place known as Junk Mountain. It’s a heap of abandoned items where some objects carry especially strong emotions and wishes. These are the soulful ones, and listening to them is the backbone of the story.

Treasure Flea Market: Cozy Sim asks you to think about where each object truly belongs. You need to determine what role it wants to fulfil and who its next owner should be.

So, you see that junk does not stay junk for long. Collected materials are turned into blueprints and recycled into brand-new items through crafting. Once repaired or reimagined, these creations are placed on display at a flea market. Here, eager buyers eventually purchase them on their own.

As the flea market draws visitors, new encounters and events begin appearing throughout the town. You’ll stumble upon some notable characters like Satoru. He’s a civil servant tasked with rebuilding the area while struggling with a quiet emptiness and a lack of meaning in his work. And there’s Ann, a cheerful girl who loves flea markets more than anyone and has a surprising talent for finding good deals.

Selling items earns money, which you can then use to buy helpful tools and slowly restore the ruined town. As more objects find new homes, shops reopen, facilities return, scenery shifts, and the town begins to show signs of human presence again.
