How to Complete The Fisch Astraeus Serenade Quest – Rod Stats and Passives Included

How to Complete The Fisch Secret Astraus Serenade Quest

As the first part was added a while ago, you may have completed it already! You can use the bullet points above to jump to a specific point.

First Part

Let’s get straight into it.

Mineshaft

Begin the quest by entering the Mineshaft in Roslit Bay. You can get here by speaking to Merlin and choosing the option that explains you need to enter The Chasm. With this, you will get Merlin’s Veil buff.

You’ll now need to enter The Chasm, which is simple! You can either walk behind Merlin’s hut and jump into the water, and swim down. Or, you can follow these coordinates: X: -843, Y: 80, Z: -984. As you swim, the game will teleport you to the Mineshaft.

Radiant Crystals

Now, you’ll need to catch three Radiant Crystals, which you can fish up in the waters of the Mineshaft. They don’t have any preferences, so all you can do is hope you get lucky!

• Breezed Radiant Crystal
  • You can only catch this with the Wind Elemental Rod, as it has a 25% chance to catch something with the Breezed Mutation.
• Serene Radiant Crystal
  • You can catch this with either the Duskwire Rod or the Polaris Serenade Rod.
  • The Duskwire Rod has a 2% chance (or 4% with a perfect catch) to get the Serene mutation.
  • The Pilaris Serenade gives a 20% chance for the Serene mutation.
• Celestial Radiant Crystal
  • You will need the Celestial Rod to catch this, as it gives a 5% chance to catch something with the Celestial mutation.

Dusky Thread

After you have all three of the Radiant Crystals, make your way to Merlin in Sunstone again. When speaking to him, you get the option to craft. By selecting this, you can craft the Dusky Thread.

Second Part

Now that you have the Dusky Thread, you need to go to the Cursed Isle and inside the cabin. Here, you will find a Shadow NPC. This NPC will only appear for 5 minutes, so you need to be quick! This NPC will request these items:

• Resin
  • Caught in Mushgrove Swamp
• Driftwood
• Molten Ripple

Place these in the order above on the dirt in front of it. You will then obtain the Astronomical Fretboard.

Third Part

Onto part three! During windy weather at night, go to the Northern Expedition and climb to the top. Keep in mind that this must be natural weather. If you use a Totem, the NPC you need will not appear. All you can do is wait!

Once the weather conditions are met, hold out a Heavenly Flying Fish to make it appear. To get the Heavenly mutation, you can use Heaven’s Rod. Or, fish during the 67 Warriors and Heavenly Sparkles admin event. You can catch a Flying Fish in the ocean.

Then, give the Spirit a Blessed Moonwood. You can get the Blessed Mutation from the Seraphic Rod and the Heavenly Sparkles Admin Event. Moonwood can be found fishing in Snowcap Island.

After you do this, you will obtain Twilight Pegs.

Fourth Part

If that wasn’t hard enough, be prepared, as it only gets tougher. Speak to Astraeus, who is in Astraeus’ Void. I’ll explain in more detail below how to enter this area!

Once inside, speak to Astraeus, who is floating on a platform. Or, you can use these coordinates: X: -177, Y: -1537, Z: 6476. When you speak to him, he will give you quests to complete. After you complete them all, you will obtain the Astraeus Serenade rod.

• Return Twilight Pegs
• Return an Astronomical Fretboard
• Return Lunar Scarp Metal
• Return Nova Resin
• Catch a Breezed Bloop Fish
• Catch a Celestial Colossal Ethereal Dragon
• Catch 2 Serene Strings
• Pay 50,000,000C$

Astraseus’ Void Location

This is a sublocation in the Underground Music Venue. To get here, click the microphone, guitar, and drums found on the stage during a Starfall Weather event.

Starfall Weather has a slim chance to happen naturally, but the best way is by using a Starfall Totem at night. You can get this totem by redeeming codes, fishing, Fallen Stars, Cosmic Relic admin events, the Black Market, Totem Carver, or completing Angler Quests.

Astraeus Serenade Stats and Passives

Let’s check out the stats! For a rod that takes so long to obtain, it’s only fair that it comes with high stats in everything.

• Lure Speed: 100%
• Luck: 400%
• Control: 0.3 (60% width)
• Resilience: 20%
• Max KG: Infinite

This rod also comes with a ton of passive abilities to make it even better.

• 15% chance for the Astraeus Mutation
• 10% chance for the Serene Mutation
• 8% chance for the Breezed Mutation
• 8% chance for the Nova Mutation
• 8% chanace for the Celestial Mutation
• +50% progress speed
• 10% chance to instantly fill the progress bar
• -10% fish weight
• Every 2.25-10 seconds, stars will fall for 2.25 seconds. These speed up, and each star grants +3% progress, capping at 30% profress

If you fish with this rod during Starfall, an additional three stars will fall during the passive ability, giving an extra 9% progress.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Why don’t I get the option to enter The Chasm when speaking to Merlin?
