The Unkillable Demon King himself, T1‘s Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok, has teamed up with McDonald’s for the holidays.

The fast food chain’s Korean locations are running a holiday charity with Faker as the promoter. The long-time LCK veteran is no stranger to being a spokesperson for brands throughout South Korea.

According to a translation of McDonald’s new Faker commercial, the Lucky Burger is returning on December 26th, 2025. This burger is a limited-time menu item that donates a portion of sales to RMHC Korea, a charity that supports families with sick children.

The advertisement shows Faker ordering the Lucky Burger and looking quite pleased after his first bite. He then gives a thumbs up and says the iconic ‘ba da ba ba ba’ jingle. League of Legends fans found the entire thing quite amusing and exciting.

Many South Korean fans said they would only be eating the Lucky Burger for the entirety of the limited-time event, inspired by Faker’s appearance in the ad.

“Just eating deliciously leads to donations,” McDonald’s Korea said in a rough translation. “The world’s most delicious donation, Luck Burger.”

Esports x Fast Food is a Collab Made in Heaven

Faker is no stranger to collaborating with popular brands in South Korea, showing his mainstream fame in his country. Five years ago, Faker was given his own ice cream flavor by Lotte Confectionery, featuring his face on the packaging.

Meanwhile, fast food brands have long-been teaming up with esports teams and players. The McDonald’s in Sweden let Ninjas in Pyjamas come up with its own sandwich in 2013.
