How To Get The Secret Fisch Eternal Frostwhale Bobber

To unlock the Eternal Frostwhale Bobber, you need to catch a Northstar Whale with the Rod of the Exalted. This combination seems odd, especially since the Rod of the Exalted isn’t new to the game. If you stick around for the Bobber’s Lore, then you’ll quickly understand why this Rod is necessary.

The Rod of the Exalted offers the following stats to help you capture the Northstar Whale:

• Lure Speed: 55%
• Luck: 170%
• Control: 0.15 (45% width)
• Resilience: 20%
• Max Weight: 57,000 KG
• Line Distance: 70m
• Passives: 4x more likely to catch Exalted Relics

When equipped, the Frostwhale Bobber will play an audio anytime a fish hooks the line of Carbon, saying “Why Noooo”, clipped from his stream after he lost the Eternal Frostwhale.

Note: This Bobber will become unobtainable after Fischmas 2, due to the Northstar Whale being a necessary catch to unlock it.

The Lore Behind The Bobber

YouTuber Carbon Meister is well known for his contributions to the Fisch community. Creating guides, hyping updates, and much more. However, old-time Fisch fans will best know him for his Eternal Frostwhale incident.

For context, the Eternal Frostwhale was the chase catch of the Golden Tide update back in January of 2025. This high-resilience fish managed to escape Carbon whilst he used the (new at the time) Rod of the Exalted One, whilst also streaming to thousands of Fisch fanatics.

Losing the Eternal Frostwhale birthed the community-wide meme of never forgetting the Frostwhale incident. Many commenters on his videos constantly bring this up, not to be mean, but to joke with the content creator. Even to this day!

Fast Forward To Now

For Fischmas 2, Carbon wanted a redemption arc and decided to challenge himself to catch a Northstar Whale with the Rod of the Exalted. The Northstar Whale is the chase catch of Fischmas 2, both rare to encounter and hard to catch.

Carbon was successful and managed to unlock a secret Bobber that nobody but the DEVs knew about, the Frostwhale Bobber!
