Dinosaur MMO Survival Game Path of Titans Drops a New Update Riparia

Alderon Games has rolled out the Riparia Update, opening a new chapter for Path of Titans. The update is now available across mobile, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC, Mac, and Linux. The update expands the aquatic gameplay.

Path of Titans has dropped a cinematic trailer for the Riparia update. They filmed it with real players, focusing on scale, movement, and constant tension between different types of dinosaurs. The highlight of the trailer is that it’s narrated by Australia’s own Bindi Irwin. Watch it right here!

Life at the edge of land and sea

Riparia is a coastal floodplain map measuring 5 km by 5 km where ocean waters cut through rivers, islands, and shorelines. The layout keeps land, air, and aquatic dinosaurs colliding with each other, needing you to make quick decisions about how to move forward.

Some routes funnel dinosaurs across narrow land bridges, others require long swims through open water. Meanwhile, flyers can take advantage of vertical space above canyons and cliffs. Although the map is smaller than Gondwa, it brings more verticality through towering landscapes.

The environment of Riparia in Path of Titans is full of extinct plant life spread across 7 new biome types. Inland forests are filled with towering Redwood and Cedar trees, while prehistoric ferns blanket the ground.

You can encounter mountain faces such as Three Horn Peak and the rushing waters of Cliff Edge Falls. You can also check out the old growth forests around Big Tree Overlook and the jagged boundaries of Steep Run.

The update also introduces a new playable marine carnivore, the Tylosaurus. It’s a massive aquatic predator best for open ocean hunting. It features a powerful whale-like tail fluke and an extra set of teeth on the roof of its mouth, enabling bone-crushing bites.
