Dave’s Word Game Is a New Wordle-Like Game on Android by Bearwaves

Bearwaves has dropped a new daily word puzzle called Dave’s Word Game. The team’s previous releases include Feud, a turn-based strategy game on mobile and PC. The project is named after its creator, Dave Cordell of the Bearwaves core team, who also designed Feud.

Is Dave’s Word Game like Wordle or Scrabble?

It’s inspired by both hit games. Every day brings a fresh board that is identical for everyone. The challenge is to spot words while deciding when to use them. Each move reshapes the board and changes what might be possible later. Clearing letters too quickly can close off future opportunities.

The structure encourages repeated attempts, because you can play the same daily board as many times as you want. Some players may focus on squeezing out the best possible result for the daily leaderboard. While others may play consistently with the longer-term goal of topping the monthly leaderboard.
