OpTic Texas remains the only Call of Duty League (CDL) franchise to be undefeated in the new season after two weeks of online qualifiers for Major 1.

The defending champions beat Miami Heretics in a thrilling best-of-five series to secure its third win of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 season.

The Green Wall Stands Tall

After opening week one with victories over Riyadh Falcons and G2 Minnesota, OpTic Texas continued its strong start to the season in one of the closest Black Ops 7 matches so far. Miami Heretics began on the front foot with victory in the opening Hardpoint, before the Green Wall answered back with a 6-4 win on Scar Search and Destroy and Scar Overload to secure a 2-1 lead.

Miami Heretics answered back with a nail-biting 250-249 win on Den Hardpoint to force a game five decider on Raid Search and Destroy. OpTic Texas emerged victorious with a 6-4 scoreline to keep its flawless record intact.

Mid-Table Battle Heats Up

FaZe Vegas, Paris Gentle Mates, and Boston Breach all scored victories in week 2, advancing to a 2-1 record. Toronto KOI also scored its second victory of the season, resulting in five franchises tied for second place.
