Fisch Fischmas Rods – Obtainment, Stats, Passives!

A Fisch event is only a Fisch event with new rods, and there are plenty of new Fisch Fischmas Rods to go around to celebrate this festive season! This guide goes over each one and explains everything you need to know about them.

Santa’s Miracle Rod

To get this rod, you need to complete Santa’s fifth quest. You can find him standing inside the Toy Factory.

• Lure Speed: 125%
• Luck: 125%
• Control: 0.25
• Resilience: 25%
• Max KG: Infinite

These are the passives:

• 20% chance for the Santa mutation.
  • This increases value by 8.5x
• 10% chance for Merry, Peppermint, or Gingerbead mutation.
  • These all give a 5x value increase.
• 10% chance to duplicate caught fish for all players on your server.
• ?% progress from falling presents.

Christmas Tree Rod

You can get this rod from the Advent Calendar on day 5. If you missed the day, you can skip to it using Robux.

• Lure Speed: 50%
• Luck: 75%
• Control: 0.1
• Resilience: 10%
• Max KG: Infinite

This rod also gives you a 25% chance to catch something with the Merry mutation, which increases value by 5x.

Jinglestar Rod

This rod is also a reward from the Advent Calendar, but you get it from day 25.

• Luck: 122.5%
• Control: 0.4
• Resilience: 5%
• Max KG: Infinite

This rod increases progress speed by 25%.

Peppermint Rod

This rod costs 4,000 Bells from the Northstar Village. Bells are the new event currency you can get, and after the event, they have no use. Why not treat yourself?

• Lure Speed: 350%
• Luck: 50%
• Control: 0.12
• Resilience: 12%
• Max KG: 10,000kg

This rod gives a 25% chance to catch something with the Peppermind mutation, increasing the value by 5x.

Maelstrom

The most expensive rod from this event! Maelstrom costs 3,250,000C$ from the Crysoshock Cellar, which you can only get to during Frost Moon weather.

• Luck: 85%
• Control: 0.15
• Resilience: 35%
• Max KG: Infinite

This rod comes with multiple passive abilities:

• When fishing, there is a Charge Meter above the fishing bar. Holding an input causes this meter to gain Charge at a random rate.
  • The Charge will decrease if it reaches 100% of the Charge Meter. When it returns to 0% Charge, it will start again.
• When releasing the Charge, it will reset. But if it is released while the Charge is over (?%), it will:
  • (?%) progress
  • (?%) chance to freeze fish movement for ? seconds.
• -10 progress speed.
• 30% chance for the Frostbitten mutation.
  • This increases value by 9x.

Gingerbread Rod

You can purchase this rod for 5,000C$ from the Northstar Village.

• Lure Speed: 50%
• Luck: 65%
• Control: 0.1
• Resilience: 10%
• Max KG: 2,000kg

As the name may suggest, with this rod, you have a 25% chance to catch something with the Gingerbread mutation. This increases the value by 5x.
