Fisch Fischmas Festive Relics – Buffs, Obtainment, and More!

Fischmas has arrived, and with it comes three Fisch Fischmas Festive Relics that give unique enchants to your rod. This guide goes through them all and explains how to get them and what to do with them.

Fisch Fischmas Festive Relics

Festive Relics are only obtainable during the Fischmas event, which ends on the 4th of January, 2026. After the event ends, you won’t be able to get them anymore!

All Relics

These are all of the Relics you can get from Fischfright 2025 and what they do!

• Merry
  • +35% progress speed
  • 35% lure speed
  • 10% chance to catch something with the Merry mutation.
    • This increases value by 5x.
• Peppermint
  • 15% chance per fish movement to stab for +1% progress.
  • +25% luck
  • 10% chance to catch something with the Peppermint mutation.
    • This increases value by 5x.
• Gingerbread
  • +40% fish size
  • +10% progress speed
  • 10% chance to catch something with the Gingerbread mutation.
    • This increases value by 5x.

How to Obtain Festive Relics

You can catch Festive Relics using two methods. Firstly, you can catch them while fishing in the Northstar Village. This is one of the new locations during the event, and is a sub-area of the Northstar Castle. When you first enter, a cutscene plays out showcasing this location!

The second way to obtain these relics is by purchasing them for 2,000 bells. This is the limited-time event currency, and although pricey, after the event ends, you won’t have any use for this currency.

How Do You Use Enchants?

To enchant a rod using a Relic (this goes for any Relic you obtain), head to Keeper’s Altar. This is located at the Statue of Sovereignty by climbing up the stairs and using the lift to go down.

You can only enchant rods at night! So, make your way down during nighttime and stand on the pedestal. Then, hold out the Relic you want to use and interact with the Altar. Your rod will obtain a random enchantment to the rod you currently have equipped.

• Which of the Festive Relics is the best?
  • All are great choices. But personally, I like Peppermint the best. A luck boost is always handy, and the 15% chance to increase progress speed is great when catching rarer and harder fish.
• Is the enchant I get random?
  • Yes, you cannot select which enchant you get from a Relic. If you don’t like the one you get, you need to obtain another Relic and use it again.
• How do I get to the Northstar Castle?
  • You need to cross the Freezing Waters inside the new event area. To get here, take the Magical Train found in Moosewood. This will take you to the Northstar Station. Here, you will find the Freezing Waters with ice you can stand on to cross over. Be careful, as the ice will break a few seconds after you stand on it!
