Dollhouse Studios Drops Multiplayer Mobile Racer Marble Challengers on Horizon Worlds

Marble Challengers is the latest addition to Meta Horizon Worlds. It’s the first release from Paris-based Dollhouse Studios. The studio brings the multiplayer marble racer as a quick, low-pressure competition with one-minute showdowns.

Tap and go!

Races happen on a dual rollercoaster-style track where players swap lanes with a single button press. You try to maintain momentum while dodging everything from green slime to traffic cones.

Each run takes marbles through sharply different environments. There are snow-covered mountains, watery stretches and bright, sunlit areas. Since this is an idle racer, a big part of the experience comes from timing rather than reflexes.

Each player can stockpile up to three boosts per race, holding them until the perfect moment to sprint ahead. Tracks are scattered with coins, too, which you can spend after a run to unlock more marbles and other extras.

At launch, Marble Challengers gives you access to over 8 tracks. Races support up to four players at once. The progression systems send competitors climbing up a Trophy Road while chasing leaderboard positions. The collection feature offers dozens of marbles ranging from shark designs to robot-themed variants.

The game director, Pierre Friquet, describes Marble Challengers as a chance to amplify the casual energy of mobile gaming inside Horizon Worlds. That’s especially as Meta redirects its attention toward bringing its social platform to phones. Friquet says the studio wants the Horizon experience to spill out of headsets and into pockets.
