How To Play Roblox Skinwalkers – A Beginner’s Guide

We’ll explain the most basic bits first, and move onto more details, then finally some tips for survival.

Controls

• WASD – Movement
• LMB – Fire
• RMB/F – Scope
• F (while holding Sack) – Store/Unstore body
• Space – Jump
• E – Interact

Objective

The objective of Skinwalkers is to defend a small village from the hordes of evil, shapeshifting monsters. These things disguise themselves as people to try and sneak in amongst the survivors trying to get to safety. Fortunately, they’re not that good at it.

To survive you need to pick out which figures in the crowd are dangerous monsters, and which are regular people. If you notice one you don’t think is human.. well, that’s what you’ve got a sniper rifle for. Take out the skinwalkers, leave the civilians unharmed.

Daytime

During the day, you and your teammates need to guard the gate to the settlement. You use your scopes to scan the crowds, and pick out anything strange about the people approaching the gate. If you’re sure they have mutant features, then you should shoot them.

Skinwalker Features

Here are some of the strange features to look out for in the crowds.

• Strange heads.
• Strange arms.
• One giant ear.
• Giant eyes.
• Creepy facial features.
• Tentacles
• No head.
• Just a head.
• Body is facing backwards.
• Running on all fours.
• Giant.
• Walking strangely.
• Giant tongue.
• A cube head.
• A double of one of the players.

If any of the Skinwalkers get in, it’s game over, so be extremely careful.

Nighttime

The sun goes down, and the gates close. Congratulations! You made it through the day. Now it’s nighttime, the civilians are gone, and you have the opportunity to earn some money. The bad news? You earn money by collecting the dead skinwalkers from the bridge.

The even worse news? It’s not just you collecting bodies.

If you want to collect some bodies, you need to advance along the bridge and scoop fallen walkers into the sack in your hotbar. You can hold ten by default. The trouble is, the skinwalkers also want their fallen buddies back, and you will see some horrible shadowy figured with long limbs skittering around the bridge, taking bodies, and attacking you if they can. Make sure someone has a rifle ready.

Making Money And Buying Items

If you manage to get some bodies without becoming skinwalker food, head back to the settlement and got to the Bank. Here you can drop the bodies onto the squares on the floor to receive money in exchange. With the money you can head over to the shops in the settlement and trade in for items or new weapons.

Tips

Here are a few tips we think might help you out if you’re struggling.

• Hit skinwalkers closer to the gate.
  • It’s tempting to fire as soon as possible, but letting runners get closer can help you get a better look, but also can help you recover a body later if you don’t have to go as far.
• Teamwork
  • Have someone cover you when you run out to retrieve, or cover your teammates when they do.
  • You can also place some snipers up above, and others and the gate on group level to catch anyone who slips by.
• When in doubt, use darts.
  • Anti-skinwalker darts won’t harm civilians if they’re hit by one, but it will take out a skinwalker. Buy some to keep in reserve. If you’re not sure about one of the people on the bridge, use a dart.
