The Forge Leaks – What’s Coming To The Forge?

The Forge is in Beta, and that means while it’s pretty big already, there’s still a ton of extra stuff still to come. We’re eager to tell you all about what’s coming, and after a bit of digging around the devlogs, we’ve put together this guide to The Forge leaks, with everything that’s on the way to the game, the evidence, and what we think those mean.

The Forge Leaks

We’ve divided the guide into sections, each talking about a different leak. We’ve included images where we can find them, so there’s some evidence of the asset.

Ice Orcs

A new release on the 6th of December shows a new model, an ice orc complete with blue skin, cool-hued armor, and blue crystals on his shoulders. We expect to see more of these as the third island draws closer to launch.

Spears

There’s a new weapon type on the way, with one screenshot showing an intricate spear design. We’re more than ready for polearms and the extra reach you could get from them.

Armor Sets

A bunch of new armor sets revealed, including an icy samurai armor, a red winged knight set, galaxy armor and… poop knight?

Third Island

One of the more important ones of the recent sneak peeks.

This promo screen shows a landscape of icicles and snow-covered trees. It’s the legally-required video game ice level! This is set to be the next major location in the game, though we’re not sure of the name yet.

Skeleton Boss?

The devs posted this model just below the third island screen, under a spoiler. It definitely has some boss monster vibes about it, and we’re slightly terrified already.

Ice Spider Enemy

These little guys look like they’re set to populate the as-yet unnamed, ice-themed third island. With crystalized backs, sharp fangs, and an even bigger variant available, we feel like our excitement to meet these spiders will end pretty much as soon as we actually run into one. Then we’ll immediately want to burn the whole mine down.

If you’re still unsure of something, we’ve got the FAQ to cover anything else related to the topic that might be useful.

• Where do you find the leaks?
  • We get most of our leaked content from the Sneak Peeks section of the The Forge Discord, where devs post news of what they’re working on for future updates. All our images come from there as well. We avoid getting too much into speculation, or sharing from unreliable sources, and we’ll avoid posting any ‘leaks’ that we don’t think have at least a good chance to be accurate.
• What’s the new content in the game itself?
  • We cover that too. We’ve actually put together our The Forge update guide, which lists all the different changes or new things available in the game.
• When will X be added to the game?
  • If we haven’t put a definite date on the sneak peek, it means we don’t know when it will arrive on The Forge.
• Do you update this leaks guide?
  • Yes, we’ll add different leaks and sneak peeks as they appear. We might need a little bit of time as we’re trying to keep all our Forge content up to date, but we’ll try to keep it current and talk about the leaks as they appear.
