The tournament, which is taking place from November 19th-22nd, once again has a $100,000 prize pool (~£79,000). The series takes place online and follows a GSL group stage format, followed by single-elimination playoffs. The Fall event will once again feature eight teams directly invited by the organisers. Alongside bragging rights to the third-ever 1win Series title, the eight invited teams will be fighting for their share of the $100,000 prize pool. The distribution of the prize pool is as follows: 1st place: $50,000 2nd place: $30,000 3rd place: $15,000 4th place: $5,000 1win will be hoping to beat the viewership record set by the second edition of the event in June this year, which garnered a peak concurrent audience of 102,386 viewers, according to Esports Charts data. That number represented a 50.5% jump in viewership over the first edition. 1win is a betting company that operates an online esports and sports brand and online casino.
