Importantly, the competition — won by Brazilian team w7m esports — recorded much higher viewership figures than last year’s Atlanta Major, which took place in roughly the same period. For context, the Atlanta Major 2023 garnered 80,000 peak viewers and 44,600 viewers on average. Rainbow Six’s Manchester event had a peak of 162,000 and an average viewership number of just under 66,000. The Montreal event was the last Major in the old Rainbow Six Siege esports tournament format before the game changes over to a single Major structure for next year onwards. The viewership numbers make the Montreal Major the 15th most-watched esports event in Rainbow Six Siege history. However, this figure does show an upward trend in viewership considering that 2022 and 2023 garnered disappointing viewership figures for the game.
