28 Oct eSport Evo France 2025 titles revealed, Mortal Kombat 1 not featured October 28, 2024 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Image credit: Evo Major fighting game event Evolution Championship Series (EVO) has revealed the games that will be featured at its 2025 edition in France. Notably, Mortal Kombat 1, a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games, has not been named as one of the titles involved in the event. The announcement took place at the Paris Games Week in France on October 27th, where Evo also introduced Guilty Gear -Strive- producer Ken Miyauchi to discuss the game and a show match on Dragon Ball FighterZ. Interestingly Mortal Kombat 1 was left off the list of games that will be played at Evo 2025. This came as a shock to many commenters as Mortal Kombat appeared in the 2023 edition of the tournament. Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros once again will not be featured at the tournament. Whilst Mortal Kombat has been left out the usual fan favourites remain such as Street Fighter and Tekken. FATAL FURY: City of Wolves, a game that has yet to be released and is set to be available to the public in April 2025, will be present at Evo France 2025. This year’s Evo event is set to take place in Nice, making it the first tournament of its kind that will be hosted in Europe. Dafydd Gwynn Source link Facebook Twitter Google Email Pinterest
