About Rush Rush is one of the most common entities in Doors. This is a little awkward because it’s also one that can instantly kill you if you make direct eye contact with it. The first sign of Rush is flickering lights when you enter a room. Next is a roaring sound that gets closer very quickly. Finally Rush, a dark specter with a grinning face, will tear through the room at great speed, shattering the lights and taking out any players that it can see. It can appear in any nearly any room aside from special rooms, though often first shows up in Room 13. How To Survive Rush So now you know what Rush does, how should you deal with it? Here we’ve got some useful tips on how to survive a run-in with the running entity. Watch for the flickering lights. Seeing the light fixtures flicker on and off when you enter a room is a clear sign that Rush or Ambush is coming. This is cue to find a hiding spot. On Floor 2, Rush’s arrival is heralded by rumbling and shaking, so if you’re in The Mines, take that as your cue instead. Hide. Rush can’t harm you if you’re in a hiding spot when it passes through. In wardrobes, under beds, or inside lockers are the usual ones. Don’t hide too soon. If you’re in a hiding place for too long, the creature known as The Hide will take offense and shove you out, dealing damage, and leaving you vulnerable to the monster. If you can’t find something to hide in, improvise. Rush should only spawn in sets of rooms that have hiding spots, though if you’re in a big group, or you just can’t get to one in time, you need to make the best of what you have. The important thing is staying out of Rush’s sight. This means, you can hide behind objects, get into basements, or lurk in subrooms. Just try and get as far away from Rush’s path as you can.
