Sorcery Parkour Guide – How To Complete The Cursed Technique Obby

Feature image for our Sorcery Parkour guide. It shows a player character stood in the Parkour course, which is dark and foggy.

The biggest obstacle in your way to mastering your Cursed Technique isn’t your enemies, or your own strength. Instead, it’s a platforming section. If you’re having a real nightmare in the Dream World with the Sorcery Parkour, you’re in good company. We’ll try and give you a few tips to get through it, and ease your pain.

Sorcery is free to play right now on Roblox. For more on getting your moves, take a look at our Sorcery Cursed Technique guide.

Let jump in (to the pit we fell into dozens of times attempting the obby.)

How To Get To The Cursed Technique Parkour

To get to the course, you need to either be Level 50, or find some Sleeping Medicine. If you are the right level, you should be transported to The Dream World when logging in, or after Missions. If you take the Sleeping Medicine, you will go to the same place.

In the Dream World, you need to follow the ringing sound until you find a green orb. Interact with it and you’ll be sent to the next area, the obby.

You’ll find yourself on a series of platforms. All you need to do is complete the course to get your Cursed Technique.

Well, we say ‘all’. It’s pretty hard.

How To Complete The Course

This parkour course will test your understanding of Sorcery’s platforming moves, and getting through it can be quite an ordeal. This is why we’ve prepared some hints and tips for tackling the obby that might help you if you’re struggling.

  • Wait for the headache to clear. If the course itself wasn’t tricky enough, you’re doing the whole thing with the Insanity status effect, which will occasionally lock up your controls due to your character’s headache. These headaches happen about 20 seconds apart. You can wait one out, and count the seconds to get some idea of how much time you have. Don’t risk a tough jump until the headache just passed.
  • Master the wall run. Some of the harder parts of the course are the wall run segments. This stumped us for a while, but once you understand how the move works, it’s a bit easier. You execute a wall run by jumping into a wall and holding Space. That’s not all though, the trick is the camera. Aim the camera towards where you want to get to, rather than toward the wall. This seems to help the wall run connect and makes those segments a lot less frustrating.
  • Wear the correct clothing. The course is dark, gloomy, and generally a pain to look at. There’s not a lot you can do to fix that, but you can make it a little less eye-strain-inducing. We found white outfits, like Kashimo’s, made it easier to see where our player character was in all the murk.
  • Try again. After a certain level, you’re likely to get sent to the Dream World every time you join a server, so if you want to try the course again after dying, just close the game and open it again. Sadly, you will have to do the tedious orb-hunt every time.
