What Is The Void Key?

The Void Key is an item resembling a small black key. You can sell it to the Merchant for 250 Essence, but that’s not the important use for it.

The Void Key is, maybe not surprisingly, used to enter The Void. You find the entrance to The Void in the Open World area. Turn right at Spawn and you’ll see a large gate on a bloc- er, building. If you interact with the gate while holding the Void Key, the gate will open. This will allow you, and anyone with you, to use the elevator inside to reach The Void.

Why Would You Want To Got To The Void?

So why would you want to got through the trouble of getting to The Void in the first place? There are several reasons you might want to take a trip there,

• Simple Domain – You can find the NPC Yuki in The Void. She’ll teach you how to use Simple Domain for 500 Essence. You can take a look at our Sorcery Simple Domain guide for more info.
• Domain Expansion – If you reach Level 150 you can meditate in The Void to unlock your Domain Expansion. Check out our Sorcery Domain Expansion guide if you want to learn more.
• Heavenly Restriction – If you have a True War Remnant, you can use it in The Void to give yourself Heavenly Restriction, at the cost of wiping your character and losing your Cursed Technique.

How Do You Get A Void Key?

The Void Key is a fairly rare drop from Missions. On completion of an objective, you should get a number of items listed on the bottom right of thr screen, this is what you got. The Void Key shows up in red text. There’s no telling when a Mission will result in getting a Void Key, so you just have to keep trying.
