About Anniversary Sans

Anniversary Sans is a limited-time unit, so you only have until September 30th, 2024 to get your hands (or bones) on him… so make sure you’re quick! He resembles the familiar skeleton, but with a little party hat on.

When you do have him, you can place him four times on the battlefield, and upgrade him a total of six.

Of course, Sans isn’t Sans without some iconic attacks that take inspiration from his fight in the Genocide Route! Let’s take a look at what he can do.

• Bone Zone
  • Multiple bones will pop out from the ground and damage any enemies walking over it.
• Gaster Blaster
  • The mystery man himself! When Sans uses this attack, he will summon the iconic blaster which shoots enemies. This also allows him to attack enemies that fly.
  • Unlocks at Upgrade 4.

How To Get Anniversary Sans

Don’t worry, you won’t need to face Sans in the Last Corridor and get dunked on to obtain him. However, if you want his party hat-wearing variation, it may take a while because he is so rare.

The first step to getting your hands on this skele-bro is by completing the Event Stage. This is located in the lobby where you spawn. After you successfully complete a stage, you will earn Candles. You can spend these in the Anniversary Shop… also known as the Tem Shop! (There isn’t an option to send Tem to college… I already checked).

In the shop, you’ll need to buy the Anniversary Gift, which costs 10 Candles. Anniversary Sans has a 0.25% chance of being inside this gift, which is very slim! All I can say is keep completing stages, stocking up on candles, and buying gifts. Most importantly, stay determined!
