The event will feature three games from mobile game developer Supercell: Clash of Clans, Clash Royale and Brawl Stars. Keep Reading BLAST partners with three Unilever brands until September 2025 BLAST to host events in Singapore in 2024 and 2025 BLAST and All England Lawn Tennis Club to run TopSpin 2K25 esports event As part of the event, three different competitions will take place next month. These are BLAST Brawl 2024 (October 10th-11th), BLAST Royale 2024 (October 12th-13th) and BLAST Clash 2024 (October 12th-13th). Each tournament has its own prize pool and format, with the winners of BLAST Clash and BLAST Royale getting $15,000 (~£11,300). Meanwhile, for BLAST Brawl, the winner of each region gets $15,000 (~£11,300). BLAST Brawl will feature open qualifiers for teams from Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and North America (NA), with top teams from each region advancing to a respective eight-team single-elimination face-off. On the other hand, BLAST Royale and BLAST Clash will only have one prize pool up for grabs. BLAST Royale will see eight teams invited to a double-elimination tournament whilst BLAST Clash will have open qualifiers before the final eight teams compete in a single-elimination bracket. This announcement from BLAST follows a trend of the company getting involved in a larger number of esports circuits. BLAST have revamped its CS2 circuit whilst expanding into Dota 2, Fortnite, Rocket League and TopSpin 2K25. However this is the companies first step into mobile esports. Although Supercell esports are more of a niche than some of BLAST’s other circuits, such as Rainbow Six Siege or Counter-Strike, the game developer has hosted multiple esports events before. The Brawl Stars World Finals has been an annual event since 2019 with the 2024 edition taking place in Helsinki, Finland this November. Dafydd Gwynn Source link Facebook Twitter Google Email Pinterest
