Glorious is a peripherals brand that produces high-end gaming peripherals and has been in the market since 2014. The GMMK lineup of keyboards provides high-performance features for gamers, but it is also aimed at custom keyboard enthusiasts looking to give peripherals a personal touch. This aim is what led Glorious to be a pioneer in the industry when it comes to approachable custom boards, with the GMMK series being its flagship range. The newest iteration has, according to Glorious, over 1bn possible configurations, which are all possible through the company’s Boardsmith configurator. The keyboard does offer a lot of possibilities for customisation: users can order it in 65%, 75% and 100% sizes and can choose between wired and wireless for a start. After that, there is a choice between standard MX switches or Hall Effect magnetic switches. LED backlight orientation can be changed, and so can both the bottom and top cases. Both offer a range of colours and materials. Switches can be changed for a variety of models, and users can add custom-coloured badges, knobs, cables and switch plates, as well as gasket modules, among other things. This allows users to tailor the keyboard to themselves and angle it more towards a better typing experience or a more dedicated gaming board directly from the factory.
