Meta DPS Unit – Igros (Elite Knight)

The best unit for damage output so far is Igros, or more precisely, Igros’ evolved form. This guy stacks up insane amounts of damage and hits even harder against stage bosses. The downside? He’s very tough to get hold of as a Secret unit. Still, we all need a moon to shoot for. Check out our Anime Vanguards Igris guide if you want to find out how to grind for him.

Meta Support Unit – Agony

Support Units can damage enemies, though that’s not where they’re made to excel. The best Support units use status effects to their advantage to pave the way for your damage powerhouses. One of the best ones is Agony. This Legendary unit can inflict Repulse on enemies, causing them to move backward along the track. This is even better than Slow as it detracts from their progress, and if you’re lever at placements, you can send them right back into the damage radius of one of your DPS units.

Meta Farm Unit – Sprintwagon

Admittedly, this guy doesn’t have a ton of competition in this section, though this just means he’s an even bigger must-have for your team. Sprintwagon is a farm unit. That means every round he generates more money. More money means more units on the field or upgrades for your existing troops. Even when you’ve got limited slots, the extra funds make Sprintwagon more than worth your attention.
